HOUSTON — Harris County sheriff’s officers are investigating the shooting of four teenagers during a confrontation at a suburban apartment complex north of Houston.

One of the victims, a 16-year-old girl, is hospitalized in critical condition with a gunshot wound to her head. Injuries to the other three are not considered life-threatening.

Authorities say at least two people have been questioned but no arrests have been announced.

Deputies say groups of teens got involved in an argument and someone started shooting late Sunday night. Neighbors say as many as several dozen teens, some from adjacent apartment complexes, had gathered at the time of the gunfire.
