Genesis 2-24 Marriage Ministries will be selling fireworks from June 27 through July 5 in the parking lot of Walmart Supercenter, 1600 E. Tipton St., Seymour.

This is the first time the nonprofit organization has sold fireworks in Seymour. For the past eight years, members of the organization have sold fireworks at Scottsburg and plan to do so again this year.

The ministry, founded by Chris and Gay Broughton of Seymour in 2006, offers premarital counseling, mentoring and other services to couples.

Their mission is to restore marriage to the place of honor described in God’s word, according to their website, genesis2-24.net.
