Chris C. Tyler, 67, of Holton died Sunday, June 11, 2017, at Premier Healthcare of North Vernon.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Tyler; sons, Chad A. Tyler of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Troy W. (Kim) Porter of Versailles; daughters, Brandy (Scott) Phelps of Plant City, Florida, Penny Jones of North Vernon and Patricia (Doug) Edwards of Westport; brothers, Kent Tyler of Holton and Thomas (Shirley) Tyler of North Vernon; sister, Betty Jones of Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Reed.

The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with Junior Tyler officiating.

Visitation from 5 p.m. until time of service Friday.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice of charity.
