The Indiana Department of Transportation plans to close State Road 58 southwest of Freetown in Jackson County on Monday for up to 150 days.

Motorists will be detoured around the site, located three miles west of State Road 135, via State Road 446, U.S. 50 and State Road 135.

HIS Constructors is the state’s contractor for this $954,355, two-bridge project, which includes removing and replacing the State Road 58 existing structure at Bee Creek.

The new State Road 58 Bee Creek bridge will be a 62-foot-long steel I-beam single-span structure.
