GLENDALE, Ariz. — Police say a 16-year-old boy who’s accused of carjacking a person at gunpoint, taking off and then crashing the vehicle near a bank has been arrested.
KNXV-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2sfcHe4 ) the boy is accused of taking a black BMW on Thursday while armed with a rifle.
The vehicle was found crashed into a tree at a bank, but the boy fled on foot. Police used trained dogs to search the area and arrested the suspect after finding him.
Police say the victim of the carjacking was not injured.
