Work is expected to begin as early as Monday on road construction projects that will impact local traffic.

Ragle Inc. plans to make repairs and then install a 3/8-inch polymeric deck overlay at the State Road 256 structure over the Muscatatuck River, 1.92 miles east of State Road 39 at the Washington-Scott county line. A closure of up to 30 days is required. Motorists will be routed around the bridge closure via Interstate 65, State Road 56 and State Road 39.

Sometime after Monday, the Evansville contractor will begin making repairs and applying a thin bridge deck overlay atop the State Road 258 bridge at the East Fork White River, 2.5 miles west of State Road 11 in Jackson County near Seymour.
