Elizabeth Ellen Clark, 86, of Seymour passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Schneck Medical Center.

Born Feb. 7, 1931, in Cortland, she was the daughter of John A. “Bert” Ray and Hester Bridges Ray, both of whom preceded her in death. On June 18, 1950, at Cortland, she married E. Ray Clark, who also preceded her in death.

She was a housewife, a wonderful mother and loved all of her grandchildren. She was a member of Seymour Christian Church, Cortland Christian Church and Order of the Eastern Star. She was a secretary with Seymour School Corp. at Cortland for 31 years and was a graduate of the Class of 1949 at Cortland High School.

Survivors her children, Steven (Janet) Clark, William (Linda) Clark, Debra Clark and Phillip Gordon Clark; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Oathout and Phyllis Peden; and three brothers, Robert Ray, Albert Ray and Donald Ray.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Voss & Sons Funeral Service with the Rev. Bill Weaver officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday.

An Eastern Star service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
