Jefferson Avenue at Tipton Street in downtown Seymour will be closed today to allow Indiana American Water Co. to make repairs in the area, according to a news release from Mayor Craig Luedeman’s office.

The closure means that motorists traveling east or west on Tipton Street will not be able to turn north onto Jeffersonville Avenue.
