Todd’s Place is conducting a Project Recovery Golfing scramble at 11 a.m. July 1 at Shadowood Golf Course, 333 N. Sandy Creek Drive, Seymour.

The transitional housing facility in Seymour offers hope and healing for men struggling with alcohol and drug addiction, and provides them with the spiritual and recovery tools needed to become productive citizens, according to a news release.

The day of golfing, food and fellowship will help the nonprofit organization continue its quest of helping fight addiction in southern Indiana and show men how to live again and be responsible citizens.

Organizers are accepting donations of hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, buns, charcoal, lighter fluid, water, soda and door prizes for the event. To donate, call 812-271-1199.
