O’FALLON, Mo. — Authorities say a train has struck and killed a pedestrian in suburban St. Louis.

KSDK-TV (http://on.ksdk.com/2sJSnET ) reports that the collision happened Sunday in O’Fallon. Police said in a news release that the O’Fallon Police Department and Norfolk Southern Railroad Police are investigating the death.

The collision temporarily closed two nearby roads.
