ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The ex-wife of a former New Mexico firefighter, who was killed in his garage late last year, has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the case – more than two months after her current husband was charged with the murder.

The Albuquerque Journal reports (http://bit.ly/2rvVrAh ) Albuquerque police arrested Christine White Friday. She is being held without bond.

Investigators say in a criminal complaint filed days after Don Fluitt was found dead Dec. 29 in his garage, he was scheduled to appear before a judge with his ex-wife, White, to discuss child custody changes.

According to the complaint, White had told her current husband, Terry White, she was worried about losing custody of her daughter.

Terry White was arrested in March and charged with murder in Fluitt’s death.
