SEYMOUR

Carole J. LaSalle, 82, of Lakeland, Florida, formerly of Seymour, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 15, 2017, in Lakeland.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of Ronald and Coletta Swartz, both of whom preceded her in death.

She moved to Lakeland from Seymour in 2007. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lakeland, Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and family.

Survivors include her sons, Michael (Cinda) Boarman, Thomas Boarman Jr. and Ronald Boarman; daughters, Cindie (Dan) Vornholt, Vicky (Terry) Miller and Tracie (Don) Martin; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Coletta Clements, Ronelle (Harvey) Maurer, Judith (Fred) Dieckmeyer, Sandra (Tom) Boofter and Michele (Lester) Norris; and many other friends and relatives.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Cletus LaSalle, and her sister, Barbara Harlow.

A memorial Mass was conducted at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Lakeland.

An interment service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour. A reception at St. Ambrose Catholic Church will follow.
