County history center selling pork burgers

The Jackson County History Center will conduct a pork burger sale starting at 10 a.m. July 7 at the livery barn at Walnut and Sugar streets in Brownstown.

The $6 meal will consist of burger, chips, dessert and drink, while it’s $4 for just a burger. The burgers will have their famous secret barbecue sauce on them. The meals and sandwiches are eat-in or carryout.

The other buildings will not be open during this event, but plenty of staff will be on hand to conduct a tour if requested.
