Kimberly L. “Kim” Combs Cameron, 47, of North Vernon, formerly of Aurora, passed away Friday, June 23, 2017, at her home.

Born Sept. 10, 1969, in Dearborn County, she was the daughter of Rollie and Mildred V. Chapin Combs, both of whom preceded her in death.

Kim worked as a lab tech for Seymour Tubing and loved flowers and enjoyed gardening. She was an avid reader, but time with her family was her greatest joy.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Cameron of North Vernon; children, Kathryn “Katy” Cameron, Jordan Asbury and Mikayla Cameron; siblings, Ronald (the late Maxine) Combs, Sandra (Jack) Mess of Milan, Mary (the late Roger) Combs of Aurora, Richard (Roberta) Combs of Osgood, Timothy (Diane) Combs of Aurora and Tracy (Vicki) Combs of Milan; and grandchildren, Brooklynn Asbury, Gabriel Whitaker, Conner Asbury and Gavin Whitaker.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Combs, and a sister, Ginny Rolene Combs.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Moores Hill Church of Christ with Pastor Tito Pel officiating. Interment will follow at Hogan Hill Cemetery in Aurora.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church.
