Brian Eugene Phillips, 23, of Seymour passed away Friday, June 30, 2017, at his home.

Born June 14, 1994, in Seymour, he was the son of Terry Dean Roberts and Stephanie Gene Maxwell Campbell.

He attended Seymour Community Schools and received his high school diploma several weeks ago. He worked at NTN in the heat-treating department. His passion was the outdoors and he loved kayaking, hunting, fishing and taking his son, Clayton, hiking. He also loved his music and all types of trucks.

Brian is survived by his son, Clayton Eugene Phillips; mother, Stephanie Gene Campbell; sister, Ashley Dawn Phillips; grandfather, Stephen Eugene Maxwell; two cousins, Eric Sebastian and Matthew Allman; and an aunt, Jenny Maxwell.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kathy D. Maxwell and great-grandparents, Irven and Dorothy King and Betty Greene.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Burkholder Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Daniel Watson officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at at Riverview Cemetery.
