MINDEN, Nev. — Nevada law enforcement say a pedestrian was killed Saturday after a vehicle hit him in Minden.

The Reno Gazette-Journal reports (http://on.rgj.com/2syKHWj ) Douglas County Sheriff deputies found a male victim in his late teens or early 20s with significant physical trauma. As of Saturday, his identity was not released.

According to a news report from Nevada Highway Patrol, the victim succumbed to the injuries he received when he was struck.

The Nevada Highway Patrol and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the case.
