BUFFALO, N.Y. — Police in upstate New York are searching for the people who stole $15,000 worth of sound equipment from an outdoor theater company.

Investigators say burglars broke into a building that housed equipment used by Buffalo’s Shakespeare in Delaware Park on Saturday night. Police say the thieves took equipment that included microphones and audio monitors.

Area theater groups are donating equipment to help with the free show.

No arrests have been made. An investigation is ongoing.
