PENSACOLA, Fla. — The Coast Guard has found the body of a Florida paddleboarder who went missing off Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Escambia County Sheriff’s Deputy Jacob Holloway tells the Pensacola News Journal the body of 26-year-old Mark Nestenius was found early Tuesday. He was reported missing Sunday after a tourist found his paddleboard floating in the water and called a telephone number on the board.

The newspaper reports a family member answered the phone and began calling Nestenius with no results.
