PITTSBURGH — The Allegheny County medical examiner has identified the body of a man found inside a burning Pittsburgh home.

The medical examiner says the dead man was 41-year-old Brad Lacey. His hometown isn’t known.

Firefighters were called to the home shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday. The fire spread to a neighboring home before firefighters discovered the body inside the residence where the fire originated about 1:15 a.m.

Fire Bureau arson detectives are investigating the cause of the fire.

The cause of Lacey’s death wasn’t immediately released.
