HONESDALE, Pa. — Federal authorities are investigating a small plane crash near a northeastern Pennsylvania airport, and the coroner’s office is telling a TV station at least one person died.

A Federal Aviation Administration spokesman says a Morrissey 2150A aircraft crashed just before 6 p.m. Thursday, about a half-mile from Cherry Ridge Airport in Honesdale.

WNEP-TV says (http://bit.ly/2sRR8Pi ) the Wayne County coroner is describing the crash as deadly.
