FREETOWN

Dillan Shae York, 20, of Freetown, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2017.

Born March 28, 1997, he was the son of Brian York and Jamie Davis York, both of whom survive. On Feb. 4, 2017, at Walker’s Chapel in Walesboro, he married Victoria Nichole Pfeiffer, who also survives.

He worked as a mechanic at Bob Poynter GM Chevrolet in Seymour. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, camping on the river, fishing and mechanic work. He was a member of Southern Indiana Model Railroad Association. He was a graduate of Seymour High School, class of 2015.

Other survivors include two brothers, Dawson and Devon York.

The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Voss & Sons Funeral Service. Burial will be at Houston Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until time of service Saturday.
