Dorothy Marie Storey, 89, of Seymour passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Covered Bridge Health Campus.

Born Feb. 15, 1928, in Jennings County, she was the daughter of Randolph John and Luna Mae Reed Smith, both of whom preceded her in death. In 1947, she married Norris D. Storey, who also preceded her in death Sept. 7, 1987.

She was retired from Cummins Engine Co. and also had worked at Indiana Telephone Co. She had been active in Lloyd Hudson’s Sunday School class.

Survivors include her children, Nickie (Don) Schneck, Mary (Tim) Wright, Andy Storey, Gloria (Bobby) Holland and Linda (Phillip) Oldham; her grandchildren, Angie (Greg) Schepman, Brad (Ginger) Schneck, Justin Wright, Jeremy (Ashley) Wright, Morgan Wright, Amanda Williams, Ashley (Jason) Wade, Andrea (Brandon) Smith, Cody Owens, Robin (Karen) Johnson, Susie (Tim) Bolton, Mary (Gary) Horn, Amber ( Johnny) Garrison and Steve (Rena) Jacoby; and her brothers, Robert L. Smith and Edward Wayne Smith.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her four brothers, Ernest Smith, Farrell Ray Smith, Randolph Smith and Orville Scott; and four sisters, Erma Smith Sutton, Helen Johnson Maxwell, Lela Johnson (Scott) Curry and Margaret Smith Marling.

The funeral service will be at noon Saturday at Voss & Sons Funeral Service with the Rev. Joel Burbrink officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
