RALEIGH, N.C. — A second teen has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in North Carolina following a fireworks show.

Raleigh police tell local media that a 17-year-old boy was arrested Thursday and charged with murder in the death of 18-year-old Raheem Khary Lawrence McAllister. A 16-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday and also charged in the murder.

Police say the teens shot McAllister shortly before 11 p.m. on Tuesday at a McDonald’s near the downtown Raleigh fireworks show. McAllister was taken to a hospital where he died.

Three other victims were shot and were taken to a hospital. They have since been released.

It’s unclear if the suspects or victims attended the show. The fireworks had ended about a half hour before the incident was reported.

The shooting remains under investigation.
