A Brownstown-based community bank produced dividends of $1.20 per share in 2016.
That news was announced during the annual meeting of TPB Bancorp on April 10 at the bank’s data/conference center in Brownstown.
TPB Bancorp is the parent company of The Peoples Bank.
Chairman Donald L. Norman called the meeting to order, and President William Mark Norman
reported 2016 was another successful year for The Peoples Bank.
Robert M. Branaman, executive vice president and chief financial officer, recapped the bank statement for 2016. He reported assets of the bank at the end of 2016 were  $197,249,285, compared to $193,918,056 at the end of 2015.
Net income for 2016 was $1,134,486, up from $1,110,554 in 2015. Earnings per share for 2016 were $2.30 compared to $2.25 in 2015. Dividends for the company totaled $592,912 or $1.20 per share in 2016.
Branaman and Jeffrey A. Nierman were re-elected to three-year terms on the board of directors, which met after the annual meeting.
During the board meeting, the following officers were reelected to TPB Bancorp: Donald L.
Norman, chairman; William Mark Norman, president; Branaman, secretary/treasurer; and Deborah A. Roll, recording secretary. Reappointed as officers of The Peoples Bank were William Mark Norman, president and CEO; Branaman, executive vice president and CFO; M. Randall Butler, vice president/comptroller; Brian L. Sommers, vice president/senior
loan officer/security officer; Roll, vice president/administrative assistant/board recording secretary;and Julie Cornett, vice president/auditor/head compliance officer.
Officer promotions announced were Bryan Stahl, who was promoted to vice president/manager IT services/operations officer, and Michelle Taulman, who was promoted to vice president/loan officer/branch operations.
William Mark Norman also made some department changes within The Peoples Bank.
Those changes include Barbara Lewis, branch manager at the Airport Road office; Stephanie Hall, branch manager at the Crothersville office/loan processor; Lacey Montgomery, assistant branch operations; Tori Ault, loan department operations; Ashley Wilson, loan
documentation review; Lisa Reinhart, IT processing/electronic banking; and Rebecca Hattabaugh, loan processor/loan officer assistant.
