LYMAN, Maine — Authorities are searching for a boat involved in a reported hit-and-run collision with another boat on a pond in southern Maine.

The Maine Warden Service says it received a call shortly before midnight Saturday about the crash on Wasleigh Pond in Lyman, which resulted in multiple people in the water.

WMTW-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2twu1gQ ) passengers of one boat made it back to shore and were treated for minor injuries. The boat later sank.

Officials say the other boat took off before first responders arrived.
