MOSSES, Ala. — An Alabama man has been arrested after a shooting left one person injured.

WSFA-TV reports that Lowndes County Investigator Jeremy A. Marvin says 28-year-old Deldrick Keon Thomas has been charged with attempted murder in connection with the Sunday evening shooting.

Marvin says officers found 34-year-old Ronald Llewllyn Means Jr. with a gunshot wound in the Mosses Projects area. Investigators identified Thomas as a suspect based on a description of his vehicle and took him into custody in Hayneville.

Means was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition; the extent of his injuries is unclear.

Thomas was taken to the Lowndes County jail and will appear before a judge on Monday. It’s unclear if he has a lawyer.
