Seymour City Home Extension Club April, May, June Meetings

Seymour City Extension Homemakers Club’s June trip took five members to Stream Cliff Farm near Commiskey for luncheon shopping.

In May, Vicki Tritle and Janet Works represented the club at achievement night. Works took second place in cultural arts for her painting, while Tritle won two bingo prizes and a door prize.

In April, six members met at the home of Mary Ellen Snyder. Nancy Hammond led the business meeting and welcomed new member Liz Smith.

Snyder gave the treasurer report. The auction item was won by Hammond.

Education chairman Doris Keyser gave a lesson about cooking spices.

Works, the leadership development chairwoman, talked about how much was donated to various agencies over the last year.

Following the meeting, an auction was conducted.
