WALNUT, Miss. — Authorities in Mississippi have arrested four suspects in connection with a double slaying.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation said in a news release Friday that 20-year-old Kedarius Hamer, 17-year-old Nakero Hamer and 17-year-old Thomas J. Hamer of Bolivar, Tennessee, have been charged with 1st degree murder in the slayings earlier this month in Walnut, Mississippi, about 24 miles (38 kilometers) away.

Police found Paule Joel Koster and Ayla Roxanne Hopper slain inside their home in Walnut on July 6.

Also arrested was 21-year-old Terrenz Mason of Michigan City, Mississippi, on charges of being an accessory after the fact to murder.

The MBI said the four suspects were being held in the Tippah County Jail. It was not immediately known if any of them had attorneys.
