NEW YORK — Police in New York City say they’re searching for a suspect who fatally stabbed a bartender after an argument.

The Daily News reports (http://nydn.us/2umNrXn ) a disagreement between 55-year-old John Savillo and a patron ended in Savillo being stabbed inside Cookie’s Lounge in Queens early Thursday. Police say the suspect stabbed Savillo in the abdomen and chest when he came out from behind the bar.

The suspect then fled the scene.

Savillo was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Police are reviewing surveillance video.
