SELAH, Wash. — A wildfire is burning near the Yakima suburb of Selah, Washington.

The brush fire started early Friday morning.

Officials report the fire has burned about 500 acres, and is about 40 percent contained.

No word on what started the fire. There are no reports of injuries or houses burned.
