ELIZABETH, N.J. — Officials say a New Jersey man died of gunshot wounds in the driveway of his home shortly after police found him there.

The Union County Prosecutor’s office said that Elizabeth police responded to reports of gunfire in the northern New Jersey city before 3 a.m. on Sunday.

The victim, whose name was not released, was identified as a 33-year-old man.

Officials say he was discovered in the driveway and pronounced dead at the scene.

The prosecutor’s office says shooting is under investigation.
