JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police say a 7-year-old boy is expected to be OK after he was shot in the arm at his Florida home.

The shooting occurred late Sunday in Jacksonville.

Jacksonville Sheriff’s officials tell local news outlets the boy was taken to a hospital with injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening.

Detectives are interviewing people at the house to find out what happened.
