ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Two people who authorities say had nearly two pounds of methamphetamine have been arrested.

The Asheville Citizen-Times reports 28-year-old Oscar Orland Navarro-Melendez and 27-year-old Linda Liceth Prada-Ardila were arrested Friday by the Buncombe County Anti-Crime Task Force and charged with five felonies each, including trafficking in and possession of methamphetamine.

The charges against them say they had 1.9 pounds (871 grams) of meth and kept, sold or allowed people to use drugs at a hotel room in Asheville.

It’s unclear if they have lawyers.
