GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Police in New Jersey say a missing 2-year-old child has drowned in a pool.

Authorities say the toddler was found unresponsive in a neighbor’s pool in Galloway Sunday morning after police conducted a search. First responders rushed the toddler to a hospital where the child was pronounced dead.

The drowning comes after two other water-related deaths involving children in July.

An investigation is ongoing.
