NEWARK, N.J. — A missing 8-year-old in New Jersey’s largest city has been found.

A group of mothers searching for Nevaeh Blaine spotted her sitting on a bench waiting for a bus at Newark’s Penn Station on Sunday night, more than 12 hours after she disappeared from the Bradley Court Housing Community.

It’s not clear how the girl got there.

Police had canvassed the city for hours and used a helicopter during the search.
