NORFOLK, Va. — A Virginia man who authorities say brought a loaded handgun to the airport has been cited.

The Daily Press reports Transportation Security Administration officers found the handgun in a carry-on bag at Norfolk International Airport on Sunday.

The TSA says the gun was a .380-caliber handgun that was loaded with seven bullets and was detected as it went through an X-ray machine.
