State Street Community Worship Center will have a clothing giveaway and a fish fry Aug. 5 at the church, 104 S. State St., North Vernon.

The clothing giveaway from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. will feature clothing in a variety of styles and sizes and some small household items.

The fish fry will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be dinners available for purchase with choice of fish, chicken tenders or giant tenderloin, slaw, fries, drink and choice of dessert. The public is invited to both events.

State Street Community Worship Center is a nondenominational church with traditional, contemporary and some southern gospel music and preaching by Biggs. Everyone is invited to attend services.
