The Jackson County Public Library will offer “Astrophotography: Capturing Our Amazing Universe” at 7 p.m. Aug. 9 in the meeting room of the library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.

Join local astrophotographer Forrest Willey for a lecture about the practice of astrophotography and the universe. This program precedes this year’s solar eclipse and will include facts and information about this celestial event.
