The Indiana Department of Transportation will overcoat its recent chip seal application on U.S. 31 between Seymour and Austin with a fog seal treatment early next week.

INDOT maintenance personnel have been scheduled to fog seal 28 lane miles of U.S. 31.

Work will begin Monday at U.S. 50 in Seymour to 1.65 miles north of Interstate 65 at Cindy Lane on the north side of Crothersville.

On Tuesday, the work will begin 0.77 miles north of I-65 on the south side of Crothersville and go to 1.56 miles north of State Road 256 on the north side of Austin.

Flaggers will direct motorists around moving worksites. No fog seal will be placed through Crothersville.
