NEW YORK — Police say a missing teen with autism was found at an Irish pub during karaoke night following an hours-long search.

The Daily News reports ( ) that 15-year-old Mel Harris of Yonkers hopped onto a Metro-North train and wound up in Manhattan Saturday. He was last seen on the South County Trailway, a bike path that spans part of Westchester County.

Police initially focused a search in the wooded areas of the bike trail.

But Mel was about 17 miles south in Midtown. He made his way to the Mean Fiddler around 11:30 p.m. A patron recognized him as the missing teen and he was taken to a hospital and reunited with his family. He was not harmed.

Police say there’s no criminality suspected in his disappearance.
