NEW YORK — New York City police say a man has died after he was hit by a car while trying to run across a street.

NYPD officials say 29-year-old Arkadiy Dibin was found bleeding heavily on Yellowstone Boulevard in Queens early Sunday. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.

The accident occurred near where Dibin lived.
