The Indiana Department of Transportation will restrict a southbound lane of Interstate 65 at Exit 55 — one lane each night — during overnight hours today, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Weigh-in-motion sensor devices will be installed between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. during these single-lane closures on I-65 at the Seymour-Jonesville exit.

Rieth-Riley, the state’s contractor for this $6,951,000 project, is building a new weigh station and inspection barn along northbound I-65 at the 50½-mile marker. The project also calls for weigh-in-motion scales on State Road 11 and U.S. 31.
