Dredging project requires street light outage on Community Drive

As Seymour Water Pollution Control continues to dredge the Von Fange Ditch, there will be a temporary disconnect for Community Drive street lighting after 11:30 a.m. today.

Four street lights will be out during the first dredging from Second Street north toward Sixth Street, according to a news release from Mayor Craig Luedeman’s office.

The utility light wires will not be live once disconnected and on the ground. The remainder of the street lighting will be addressed later.

“No parking” signage will be in place on Community Drive and will remain until this section is done.
