The Indiana Department of Transportation plans to close the northbound right lane of Interstate 65 this weekend at 50.7-mile-marker just north of the Seymour exit.

Restrictions begin at 9 p.m. Friday and continue through 6 a.m. Monday.

Rieth-Riley is INDOT’s contractor for a $7 million project to build a new weigh station and inspection barn along I-65 1.5 miles north of U.S. 50. The facility is connected to weigh-in-motion scales including those at nearby locations on State Road 11 and U.S. 31.

This weekend’s closure allows crews to remove and replace approximately 60 feet of concrete pavement for installation of weigh-in-motion scales on northbound I-65.
