Jacqueline Rivera to attend national pageant

Jacqueline Rivera of Seymour recently received an invitation to attend the National American Miss pageant during Thanksgiving week at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

Rivera, the daughter of Elmer and Claudia Rivera, will have the opportunity to win her share of more than $500,000 in cash and prizes, according to a news release from National American Miss.

She earned that opportunity to attend nationals through her successfully scored event at the National American Miss Indiana state pageant.

She was second runner-up in the queen’s court and was the Heart of Service winner, best thank-you note winner, first runner-up in casual wear, second runner-up in top model, third runner-up in spokesmodel, fourth runner-up in photogenic, first runner-up in most promising model and Spirit of America portfolio award state finalist.
