SEYMOUR, INDIANA

Nicholas Doyle East, 37, of Seymour, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017. He was born on December 17, 1979, in Seymour, to Mike and Charlotte Doyle East.

Nick was a Seymour High School graduate and a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. He was very well read and his recall was exceptional. His interest was in studying different religions and music.

He enjoyed playing his guitar and old vinyl records. He loved spending time with his family and loved his children very much. He was such a great handyman that he was able to fix and repair anything that could be a challenge.

He is survived by his parents; his children, Mallory and Nicholas; a brother, Jeff (Donna) East; and two sisters, Dawn Branaman and Robin (Mike) Davidson; as well as several aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews, Brittany Waddell, Derik Neal, Elizabeth East, Blake Davidson, Brooke Davidson; and a great niece and a great nephew.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Dorothy East and Chris and Marge Doyle; and a brother, John Michael East, Jr.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on Saturday, August 19, at 10 am with Father Dan Staublin officiating. Burial will follow at St. Ambrose Catholic Church Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday, August 18, from 4-8 pm and Saturday at the church from 9 am until the time of service. A Rosary service will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday at 3:45 pm.
