The fourth annual South-Central Indiana Stand Down on Sept. 7 will offer resources to veterans, service members and military families.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Donner Park, 739 22nd St., Columbus. Proof of service or military identification is required to access the free services at the event.

Local providers will offer haircuts, health screenings, legal assistance, emergency housing options, employment support services, stress management education, energy assistance and vision screenings. There will be assistance for those needing help in applying for food stamps or accessing Veterans Affairs benefits, Social Security benefits, child support and other services.
