B. Sue Sanders, 77, of Columbus, passed from this life at 3:50 a.m. Monday, August 28, 2017 at Silver Oaks Health Campus.

Sue was a graduate of Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis. She retired from Cosco (Dorel Juvenile Group). Mrs. Sanders was a previous member of the Bartholomew County Snowmobile Club, Grandview Lake Garden Club, Grandview Lake Yacht Club and Driftwood Valley Cloggers. She loved spending time with her kids and grand kids, watching them grow. Sue enjoyed water sports, cruises, snowmobiling trips to Michigan and Wisconsin and trips to visit family in Arizona, Mississippi and Alabama.

The funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with Rev. Michael Hoyt officiating. Friends and family may call Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Mrs. Sanders was born October 7, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late James Morton and Mary Craig Bailey.

On February 28, 1970, she married Harry E. Sanders.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Harry, son Tim (Churee) Holtke of Seymour, daughter, Christy (Will) Pumphrey of Columbus, grandchildren; John Bowling, Chloe Holtke, Luke Holtke, all of Seymour, Graham, Vivian and Katie Pumphrey, all of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step mother, Betty Bailey of Pheonix, AZ., brother, James Morton Bailey II of Shirley, IN., son, Craig Alan Sanders of Columbus, and brother-in-law, Norman Boyle of Columbus.
