ATTLEBORO, Mass. — A Rhode Island man wanted in connection with a double shooting in that state has been held without bail in Massachusetts.

The Sun Chronicle (http://bit.ly/2wUCEV1 ) reports that 22-year-old Rashawn Clark, of Central Falls, was held after a judge ruled Monday he was a threat to the public.

Clark’s lawyer argued for his client to be released with GPS monitoring. But the prosecutor said Clark was a danger due to his previous conviction for gun possession in Boston.

Authorities say Clark is connected to a drug-related shooting in Central Falls in March that left three people with non-fatal gunshot wounds. Clark was one of those injured.

Clark was arrested in Mansfield on Aug. 30 after police found him in his aunt’s apartment.
