WILMINGTON, Del. — Police have arrested 69 people as part of a two-day investigation west of Wilmington.

Police say the investigation was prompted by citizen complains about prostitution and other issues in the area.

The operation was conducted in the first week of September. It resulted in prostitution, drugs and weapons charges.

The investigation was conducted by the Delaware State Police, the New Castle County Police Department, the Wilmington Police Department, the Newport Police Department and the Department of Probation and Parole with the assistance of the Department of Corrections and the Justice of the Police Courts.
